Who Is a Delegate?
Delegates represent their churches and local institutions (schools) during Session. They must be members in regular standing of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Registration
All delegates from Barbados register at the Conference Office, Brittons Hill, St. Michael, between August 6 and August 13. Overseas delegates register at their hotel on August 13, between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Attendance
All members are welcome to attend worship and business sessions. However, only accredited delegates may vote and participate in deliberations.
Orientation Sessions
Mandatory orientation for all delegates will be held via Zoom (Pre-registration required):
- Thursday, August 7, 2025, at 7:00 p.m.
- Sunday, August 10, 2025, at 4:00 p.m.
Election Process
The Organizing Committee selects the Nominating Committee. That committee recommends leaders for election by general vote. This process mirrors local church procedures.
Bylaw Amendments
Proposals are submitted in advance, discussed in plenary, and voted on by delegates.
