Welcome to the East Caribbean Conference Session!
Join us August 14–16, 2025 at Oldbury SDA Campsite, St. Philip, Barbados for our quadrennial gathering of believers from Barbados and Dominica. As infectious as the ripples of our waters, God’s Spirit draws us into unity and purposeful service. Whether you’re a delegate or a guest, you’re warmly welcomed!
This is more than a business meeting. It is also an occasion for worship, prayer, planning, and fellowship. As a delegate, you have a unique opportunity to be guided by the Holy Spirit in advancing the Church’s mission.
Theme: “Positioned for Mission: A Church Without Walls”
What Is the ECC Conference Session?
Every four years, this session is a dual-purpose assembly—on one hand, spiritual nourishment with worship, Bible study, and fellowship; on the other, shared governance, with elected delegates deciding on leadership, bylaws, finances, and mission priorities.
Why We Meet Every Four Years
This quadrennial gathering maintains accountability, spiritual refreshment, and strategic planning aligned with the Inter‑American Division’s and the Caribbean Union’s oversight of the East Caribbean Conference’s territory—Barbados and Dominica.
How Delegates Are Chosen
Delegates are nominated and voted at the local church or institutional (schools) level, ensuring each voice reflects its community. Regular Delegates are appointed based on church membership size, and Delegates-at-Large include Conference personnel, union representatives, and others approved by the Executive Committee.
